Around Kalkan

Kalkan is an attractive holliday resort. It has a small marina with numerous friendly fish restaurants.

Around Kalkan there are many excursions that you can make. Make a boat tour along the cristal clear shores around Kalkan or visit the ancient sand beach of nearby Patara and see the footprints of the Carretta Carretta turtle. You can visit the impressive Saklikent canyon and sit above its refreshing spring to eat trout. You can also make an excursion to the church of Saint Nicholas in Myra and visit the beatiful peninsula of Kale Simena together with the sunken city of Kekova islands.

You can reach Kalkan by air through Dalaman airport (two hours drive) or Antalya Airport (four hours drive). The drive to Kalkan takes you along the spectacular scenery along the Turkois coast.
